🍪 Cookies

This website fundamentally does not use tracking cookies. Only technically necessary session cookies are used to ensure the functionality of the website (e.g. login status, language settings). These are automatically deleted when you close your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical functionality of the website).

📬 Newsletter

If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you. Registration is done via a double opt-in procedure: after registration you will receive a confirmation email in which you must confirm your subscription by clicking a link.

The newsletter is sent via AcyMailing, a newsletter system integrated into Joomla. The data is processed exclusively on our own server.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. An unsubscribe link is included in every newsletter email. After unsubscribing, your data will be deleted immediately.

👥 Registration & User Accounts

You can register on our website to access additional features (e.g. AMIGO AI Chat). During registration, the following data is collected:

💳 Payment Processing

For payment processing of memberships and orders, we use the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.

When selecting PayPal as a payment method, your payment data (e.g. name, email address, transaction details) is transmitted to PayPal. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).

🤖 AI Data Processing (AMIGO AI)

Our website offers AMIGO AI, an AI-powered chatbot for questions about Amiga computers. The following data is processed:

• Chat messages: Your inputs are transmitted for processing to Anthropic, PBC (San Francisco, USA), the provider of the AI model “Claude”.
• Chat histories: Your conversations are stored server-side on our server in Germany to provide you with access to previous conversations.
• No disclosure to third parties: Apart from Anthropic for AI processing, your chat data is not shared with third parties.

The transfer to Anthropic (USA) is based on Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) for registered users or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) for guest users.

🌐 External Services & CDN

For the presentation and functionality of our website, we include resources from external Content Delivery Networks (CDN):

• Bootstrap (CSS framework)
• Font Awesome (icon library)
• AOS – Animate On Scroll (animation library)

When retrieving these resources, your IP address is transmitted to the respective CDN providers. This is technically necessary to deliver the content to your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing and functional presentation of the website).
