Its most notable feature is the Chunky to Planar (C2P) converter, which accelerates the conversion of chunky pixel data (used by PC graphics) into the Amiga's native bitplanar format, significantly improving 3D rendering performance. The chip also includes DMA capabilities and was designed to reduce the cost of CD32 hardware by integrating multiple functions, though it never appeared in other Amiga models.
