Jay Miner
Jay Miner was the lead chip architect and hardware designer for the Commodore Amiga computer, widely regarded as the "Father of the Amiga." He previously designed custom chips for Atari's 8-bit computers before joining Amiga Corporation, where he led the development of the revolutionary custom chipset including Agnus, Denise, and Paula. His architectural decisions enabled the Amiga's groundbreaking graphics and sound capabilities, including the blitter and copper co-processors that distinguished the platform from competitors.
