Deluxe Paint (DPaint)
Deluxe Paint (DPaint) by Electronic Arts is THE drawing program of the Amiga. Developed by Dan Silva, it appeared in 1985 as a bundle with the Amiga 1000. DPaint optimally utilizes HAM mode and all Amiga graphics modes. Features: pixel drawing, color palette editor, animation mode (from DPaint III), perspective, stencils, brush handling with rotation/scaling/bending. DPaint IV (1991) brought animation tools and became the industry standard - even LucasArts and Bitmap Brothers used it. DPaint V (1995) was the last version. The program massively influenced the entire Amiga demoscene and game development.
