Audio Evolution
Audio Evolution by PetrO (Peter Bollen) was a hard disk recording system for the Amiga. It enabled multi-channel audio recording and playback directly from hard drive for the first time ā similar to later DAWs. Audio Evolution 4 supported 16-bit/44.1kHz audio via sound cards like Toccata, Delfina or Prelude. The program lives on as Audio Evolution Mobile on Android.
