Workbench 1.0-1.3
Workbench 1.0 (1985) was the first graphical user interface of the Amiga, shipped with the A1000. It featured the iconic blue-orange desktop with icons, windows, menus, and the trash can. Workbench 1.1 fixed bugs, 1.2 brought FastFileSystem (FFS) and the Preferences editor. Workbench 1.3 (1987, with A500/A2000) was the most mature 1.x version with improved RAM handler, hard drive autoboot, and CrossDOS compatibility. The 1.x series used only 256KB RAM and ran on all Amigas.
