Disk 607 - ST BASH Great PD space invaders type shoot-em-up from a 17Bit member in Germany (unfortunately you didn't sign your name on the letter, so whoever you are THANKS!) the aim is to blast your way through 520 levels of St related sprites (spinning ST logos etc), and there are several various levels of play so you can make the game as easy or as difficult as you want. With all the available options and great playability this will keep you amused for quite a while and should keep your kids quiet for an hour or two!! Disk 651 - SCOOPEX MENTAL HANGOVER An absolutely BRILLIANT demo disk featuring some beautiful graphics, music, bobs, vectors, scrolling etc. This reaaly is one of the best Amiga demos ever, beats Red Sector, and sets the standard for others to meet... People should be warned .. that "F" word that I'm not allowed to say is included on screen so 9 year olds or their parents should stay away! Disk 652 - DARKNESS MEGADEMO A nice megademo containing various parts which are accessed by moving a helicopter round with your stick! As usual you can find loads of nice graphics and sound aswell as some new original ideas! Disk 653 - TURRICAN Preview version of Rainbow Arts latest (and greatest?) game. 3 levels taken from the game, run around blasting the enemy, collect crystals and extra weapons. A great PLAYABLE demo of a great game NOT AN ST PORT! Excellent Gfx and sonix and it's really playable. Disk 654 - BLOODSUCKERS MUSIC A-Cid!, Execution, Megablast, Systematic, TechnoBurner, Kill 'em All. A groovy disk where no one style has the monopoly. We've the standard houseyhousey styles, a bit of techno and some RAW METAL! YO Rick "Dood" Lemon can chill out and get his brother in ecstasy to this one, screaming guitars a go go! Is this the first true Amiga heavy rock?? Disk 0655 - COMIC STRIP MUSIC Thanks go to 17Bit Member Chris Twyman (12891) for sending in his excellent COMIC STRIP MUSIC !This disk requires ONE MEG and features 2 brilliant Sonix scores, with lashings of Comic Strip samples!COME AND GET IT features Ade edmonson and the infamous "come and get it like a big funky sex machine!" aswell as loads of other Adey samples.LASHINGS OF GINGER BEER has samples from the classic 5 Go Mad In Dorset, more great samples set over a pulsating dance beat!(Should this be 5 Go Mad On E??!)A wizard music disk, that no Comic Strip fan should be without. Disk 656 - MANDLEBROT SLIDES The Mandlebrot Slideshow By 17Bit Member Anjum Khan. 15 generated Mandlebrot screens for every one out there who is "in" to this particular aspect of Amiga graphics. Some of the screens look nice`n'arty in their own right! Backed by an Allister Brimble score. Disk 657 - FRAXION REVENGE 6 rather gruesome animations from these Norwegian sickos!! Watch various decapitations, Shotgun blasts, chainsaw hacks etc!! Not really for the too squeemish (though they are only animated sprites NOT digitised images) this one is quite funny to watch at fast speed after a couple of bevs. Disk 658 - INTROS #36 8 more new demos that show off the Amiga! As usual all these feature great Music, graphics and new programming effects! Demos on here by: Abandon, Cave, Dual Crew, Kefrens, Mayhem, Prime Evil, Special Brothers and another offering from those prolific parchments at Vision! A great Acid track backed by some wird and wonderful effects including a dancing mannequin, this is an excellent demo! Disk 660 - INTROS #38 9 great demos: Animate, Bloodsuckers, Cult, D-Mob, Elite, Mahoney & Kaktus, Mayhem, Area 08 & Wizard (which features a very good rendition of Bruce Hornsby's That's the Way It Is) As is to be expected all the demos are of a very high standard. Disk 662 - TIME CIRCLE A Brilliant disk full of tunes mostly composed using the Amigas internals, with over 30 tunes, there's too many to list here, but the disk does include a large number of classic C64 conversions. Disk 663 - END OF CENTURY #2 Is it December 31st 1999 or is it December 31st 2000. That's what I want to know.. Disk 664 - RESOLUTION 101 No, not from the United Nations, it's a demo of a 3d game. Disk 667 - INTROS #39 7 great intros from Area 08, Crusaders (nice music), Disknet (Again nice music/equaliser), Dreams Of Power, Spreadpoint, Avoid and a great demo from Level 4. Younger viewers, or those easily offended, should be warned this disk, as most other intros, contains language in the scrolltext that may cause offence. Disk 669 - CRUSADERS MUSIC 7 brilliant pieces of Amiga music by Dr Awesome (Tied Up etc) and Fleshbrain. Score titles are: Who Knows, 12th Warrior, Kilimanzaro, No-One Home, GraveYard and the absolutely amazing Make Your Move which is WELL FUNKY!!! An excellent music disk! Disk 670 - SLIDESHOW DISK #24 A slideshow that contains possibly the best Amiga digitised pics ever! All weigh in at a whopping 140K each, these 5 pictures are almost faultless. We have 3 cars (a rather nice red Porsche 930, a Jaguar Xr7 and a Bfg? Sorry I'm no car expert I dunno what car this is supposed to be.) A pic of a Brand new Honda racing bike and a Hornet plane. Also on the disk is 2 pictures By 17Bit member Gary Tower; smiley and a rather luvverly Ray Traced extravaganza that took 58 hours to render, and jolly nice it is too! On here we have: Density, Rock'N'Roll Blues (dig those pianers), Cigar Smoke, Total Frog Syndrome, Deep Water (My fave just oozes atmosphere, a must for any one feeling slightly sad or down, just turn off the lights, whack this through your hi-fi, lay black, close your eyes, tune in and dream....), WitchDoctor & Deep Fry The Sky. A brilliant original disk, that most people should appreciate, if anyone doesn't like Deep Water I want to know why! Disk 677 - CLIP ART DISK Thanks to the new look Photofile we have a disk containing various images for you to cut out and use in your own documents. These B&W images are intended mainly for DTP use (Proff. Page etc) but can also be used within any standard art package as all files are standard IFF format. The disk covers various subjects from Cartoons, Flowery Fonts, Logos, flags etc. Disk 678 - THUNDERSTRIKE Demo of the game. Disk 679 - INTROS #40 Featuring 6 new demo's from various crews, including the ACON HAM demo (very nice plotted hold and modify demo), the DOPE intro maker (as featured in CU) this allows you to create your own small intro's complete with scroll text, starfield, and the music of your choice. The Fraxion Chase 1930 demo, which is very original and professional featuring a novel car chase sequence, all rounded off with an amusing end. A KEFRENS multipart demo, REBELS copper wave effect demo and the Venom blue water demo complete with checkerbord sequence. Disk 680 - INTROS #41 Yet more lovely demos compiled onto one disk, this time featuring the CRYPTIC filled vectors demo which is very nice indeed accompanied by some great music, The ERRORS fractal graphic demo with a novel way showing those endearing fractal graphics which people seem to love, NETWORKS NEW DEMO, A small intro from the POWERLORDS, with a nice mountain effect and forward letter scroll, SCOOPEX elephant demo with multi coloured filled vectors and nice muzacs as well and last but not least the VIOLENT WAVES spiralling bobs demo (very hypnotic). Disk 681 - WARFALCONS MEGA DEMO Very reminiscent of the SCOOPEX Mental Hangover, but in my opinion takes it a stage further. Features the most beautiful filled vectors I've ever seen (also the largest), all accompanied by some superb music, watch and die. Disk 682 - GIANTS MEGADEMO DISK #1 Yet another 2 disk mega demo very similar to most other 2 diskers but still quite good, features 14 parts in all. Disk 683 - GIANTS MEGADEMO DISK #1 Disk two of the above demo. Disk 684 - FRACTAL FLIGHT DEMO Fractals take on a new perspective with this new flight demo (As seen in CU, Amiga Format etc), it's all very afective and seems to work better with 1 megabyte of ram. Gives the effect of flying through mountains at great speed. Full instructions are given on the disk. Disk 685 - KEFRENS MUSIC JUKEBOX SLL from Kefrens puts 8 of his music masterpieces onto a well presented disk, graphically good, sonically awesome, and a must for any music fan. Disk 686 - INTROS #42 Contains 4 parts which are: DISKNET confused lines demo, with some very catchy music , AMAZE demo complete with real time oscilator and good music, SILENTS BLUE HOUSE demo, a four parter in one load, and finally the SPECTRALS NATIVE DIPSOMANIA filled vectors demo. All wicked stuff!!!!! Disk 687 - CRYONICS MEGA DEMO Only 3 parts but still superb worth 2 quid for the last Maddona part which is very novel and original, an esential disk for all demo collectors Disk 0688 - SPIRIT BLACK AND WHITE HORROR SLIDE SHOW With 24 pictures in all from such films as Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 very well presented with eerie music to boot, don't watch it with the lights off. Disk 0689 - THE POSSESSED SOUND More original music with about 8 tunes, good when amplified, and a graphically good front end. Disk 0690 - SOUNDTRACKER INSTRUMENT For use with GMC or Soundtracker it contains some new and very different sound effects, for you to create your own masterpeices, or just faff about with. 50 Instruments on here! Disk 691 - PHOTO MONTAGE 3 From Seven Towers PD (Or Mr Utopia to his friends) who used to produce those ever so naughty disks. He now turns his talents to digitizing various photographs, this time 15 in all which are up to the usual standard of Montage 1 and 2. Disk 692 - BRAINWAVE MUSIC DISK 6 tunes in all with a very good version of True Faith from New Order. Disk 693 - RED DWARF QUIZ V2 Disk 0694 - NIC CUSWORTH MUSIC A brilliant Depeche Mode remix by Nic "Nic" Cusworth, although there is already another remix of "Policey (sic) of Truth" in the library this one is sufficiently different (and better) to merit inclusion.Also contains another Original composition done in Nics Own inimitable style. Neither of the scores sound remotely like the Happy Mondays but never mind, next time eh Nic?? Disk 695 - GOLEMS GATE SLIDESHOW Another graphic slideshow this time with original drawings, accompanied by good music and the option to go backwards or forwards in the slide- show, all pictures have a role playing feel. All Graphics hand drawn NOT Digitised! Disk 697 - INTROS #43 Featuring AURORA loveley vector bob demo, XENOMORPHS animated bob demo, DUAL CREW bouncing logo demo, yet another vector demo from KEFRENS, the CRUSADERS cycadelia demo and finally the REBELS three stage demo. Disk 698 - FLASH MUSIC DISK 4 tunes or remixes with KEEP BUSTIN, THE POWER, KAOS, and TOUCH ME All sound really good and the disk is well presented aswell. All tunes up to the usual flash productions standard. Disk 0699 - PSEUDO COP Very tough game from the guys at Pseudo Ops - Thanks Guys!! A game based on the film Robocop this is a left-right scrolling shoot-em-up that puts you in the role of ED209, blasting everything in sight. One for the ardent gamester, anyone who cant get more than ten points on Xenon 2 should stay away.
